I interacted with the exceptionally nice and super-friendly staff. It was very close to the establishment as well as sea front, station, bus station, shopping centre and Gosport Ferry, great and unbeatable location overall.
The staff - some of them were extremely rude.

I had a fantastic stay at this historic pub with good old-fashioned hospitality. The location was excellent, right opposite the old naval dockyards and close to Gunwharf Quays shopping center. The room was lovely, clean, and spacious, and the bathroom was great. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The breakfast was good, and the bed and bath linens were immaculately clean. Additionally, the hotel was quiet, providing a peaceful atmosphere. The room facilities, including tea making and a working TV, were perfect. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent accommodation and friendly staff.
While my stay was mostly great, there were a few minor drawbacks. The room overlooking the loudest bar with thumping bass music till the early hours was a little bit of a warning.

The breakfast had a good choice of selection, the food was fabulous. Got the same beautifully decorated and neat room with great shower booked online, greatly enjoyed that. The location was excellent - short walk to the waterfront, the Dockyard museum, and shops and eating places. Gunwharf Quays was within a close distance from the venue.
